Re: Firearm FRIENDLY businesses in VA
Old thread but... Went to Dave and Busters in Glan Allen. Small one but had sign right out front stating concealed carry is tolerated as long as all laws are followed blah blah. Yes I was carrying that day but surprised to see the usual do's and don'ts sign including something of a hot button issue....

Re: Current favorite firearm to shoot?
Good question with an easy answer. My M1 Garand. Heavy. Expensive ammo. Pain in the but to load clips. Teeny 8 round capability. Chasing flying clips. Iron sights. Who cares. All eyes on the prize when that thing comes out of its case. Everyone wants a chance to shoot just to get a feel. Good horizo...

Re: Oldest Functioning Firearm In Your Collection?
I have two that my dad gave me. First is a Winchester Model 66 .22lr tube fed from stock. Self loader plastic chassis. For something from the sixties or so it shot dam accurate after sitting in a closet for god knows how long. The other I don't dare shoot. Lefever Arms side by side 20g. Dual trigger...

Stainless fluted barrel and nicely stained stock. Definitely one of the upper models. Model 84 I think? Can't remember off hand. Yea. Forgot about hunting season coming up. I just hope someone will be wiling to buy it for hunting. It ain't a cheapie. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum...

No, 5.56 through .223. Was told never to do it. Causes problems and can be a safety issue. Now, if I'm wrong afterall......

How's the market for reselling hunting rifles?
I have a Kimber 223 rifle I'll be posting for sale soon but am noticing the used firearm market is a bit soft. Maybe my imagination. I don't know. I know the long gun market is slow as everyone is grabbing up the easily concealed handguns wherever they can get them. But how about the quality hunting...

Re: wtb savage 110
Still looking? I have one in 270 that needs a barrel. Throat and chamber are worn. Won't eject spent shells until they cool down. New stock, mil spec rail adapter, model specific beaver tail type scope mount with rings. Shots fine otherwise. Friend gave it to me a while back and I rehabbed it but no...

A+ for ajax
Contacted me weeks after an original sale fell through remembering I had interest and allowing me a chance to purchase if I still wanted to. Plus was willing to meet halfway on distance since I'm kind of laid up on a work injury. Rifle was actually better than expected but no less than exactly as de...

Cute. Real cute.
Guess it actually doesn't apply to me either since I carry a Kimber. Hahaha

BB&T branch on Rt1 between the Wells Fargo and the lighting supply place. Sticker posted on the front door. The ubiquitous Baretta with the slash over it. Luckily I was only there to make my final payment for my car loan. Thankfully I won't be back.

So i joined the VCDL finally...
Sent off the payment through Paypal a few weeks ago. How long before I get some confirmation and/or membership number? The order form did say it would take a while, but I forgot how long it said. I'm not angry or ranting, I'm just wanting to know.

Re: Where did you carry today? V1.0
My trusty Kimber Stainless Ultrac Carry 2 by my side(well, inside my side, really), went to Home Depot on Rt3. Go there a lot with no problems. Checked today and didn't see any "can't" postings. Also went into Wells Fargo branch on Rt1, the one next to the Cardinal Bank/Firestone dealer. C...

Yes it is working. I misinterpreted the mailbox functions initially. I apologize. Just works a little differently from what I'm used to.

New pm's going straight to outbox.
Guess I'm the only one here with this problem and it didn't happen before. I've sent two pm's to the same person. The site responded "message sent successfully" but they show up in my outbox, not the sent messages folder. Is there a setting or something I'm missing? [ Post made via Mobile ...

Mcdonalds maybe. The Mikky D's next to my house on Rt3/Ferry road didn't bat an eye at the kid with the Glock on his hip one night. Quite surprising really. Caught me off guard. But no one in the place seemed to care. Nice.

Re: How long does it take to take home a gun once purchased.
Once one purchases a gun, how long does it take to take home? Hopefully that day. I guess it depends on how far your drive home is :) Hahahaa. Awesome. Same for me, too. Longest I waited was 24 hours due to a delay. All others were instant. Even my two gun purchase was instant. I guess I'll count m...
