Why spend hours trying a combo when I can open it in seconds with a hammer? Seriously, I opened my own $400 "security/fire" safe with a hammer (and extremely minor damage...you can't tell) in two blows. FYI, it weighs >200lbs! That's a far better constructed safe than any of these handgun...

I, too work in the computer security field, and I agree that anyone sufficiently motivated and skilled will be able to overcome one, or both of the electronic security mechanisms on a box like this. But for most people, this is not the type of person you'd be guarding against. Most people want a gun...
