What AK 47 to buy? Decisions, decisions
First thank you all for your informative remarks in the past. So I have another question for the group. I'm looking for a good rough and tumble camping rifle and I have settled on the A.K. 47, ahh now the hard part picking a brand. I would like to stay within 500 to 600 $ if possible, I know chances...

Trojan Horse of H.R. 822
Sorry I'm not sure how to do the link thing so here is the e-mail it-self. Some well-meaning, but in my opinion very misguided pro-gunners are working to pass a bill that could turn into a Trojan Horse for more gun control. Of course, I'm talking about H.R. 822, the so-called "National Reciproc...

Re: HR 822 National Reciprocity Bill
In regards to H.R. 822 I love the idea of being able to carry my sidearm on me at all times whenever I choose or see fit (embodiment of the right to bear arms) but I am not blind. I know the actions of a few have made this impossible for the law abiding citizen to simply enjoy their right and freedo...

Dressing the part = less hassle
Unless its cool enough to wear long sleeves and slacks, or something along toughs lines that's considered respectable and makes you look like a plain clothes cop, I cant seem to OC without getting the OMG shock look or a challenging do something look from fellow patrons/pedestrians. I'm white, I hav...

Re: When it may NOT be good to Open Carry...
According to the gun owners guide the snubi in the back pocket would constitute an attempt at concealment without a permit which is a big no no and a heavy fine. If you choose to carry a gun at all you have to be in a mind-set that prepares you to use it if the time comes. I say OC, and to quote the...

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/07/13/fla-lawsuit-can-doctors-ask-patients-about-guns/ According to other websites it is against the law for doctors to ask about guns period. But I have heard story's about attempted intimidation and refusell of services even though it violates the doctors oath. Or ma...

I like to use Remington green box when I can afford it. But mag-tec is a decent round for the price. A bit dirty but nothing a well oiled and maintained tool cant handle.

Proof for the anti-gunner
Quoting yesterdays NRA-ILA grassroots. When law abiding citizens are disarmed is their society a safer one? Do gun bands reduce violent crime? Will the police always be there to protect you? Englands current plite is just the latest example to show us that the answer is an emphatic NO. The 2nd amend...

New in town & I be packin.
Hello everyone. I am active duty Navy and fairly new to the state. I have been getting acquainted with local and state law for both open and concealed carry (already got my CCW for VA). Aside from the normal restrictions, federal areas, posted no gun areas and the like, what iv got so far is - cant ...
