Re: Ruger MK II Gov. Model
yeah, she's a sweet shooter! 275 - 300 is what I'm seeing for them online, but add the case and burris scope, + its competition grade, I'm thinking 375 - 400 might be a fair price. I'm going to keep looking around before I shoot a # at him.

Ruger MK II Gov. Model
Hi can anyone suggest a FMV on a Ruger MK II Government Target Model with scope, pelican case, & 3 mags? Gun has about 250 - 300 rounds and very good condition, no scratches or dings. http://i609.photobucket.com/albums/tt177/paul1965/Nambu/2011-08-12_09-57-35_340.jpg http://i609.photobucket.com/...

Re: What to do with my Nambu
Very cool pistol! Here what I suggest: Sell it to me for $21 dollars! But seriously do what Hiwaytahell said but also pick yourself up a Ruger Mark 1. The Mark series was based off the Nambu. It should be fun to compare the two! I wouldn't if you can even find ammo for this gun. Very true, From wik...

Re: What to do with my Nambu
Well, I've made a bit of progress with some research. I contacted a fellow named Dan Larkin who has put together a database of all Nambu's made. He had this to say; "your pistol is a Kokubunji First Series example produced in February 1944 (19.2). The current observed serial range for that pist...

Re: What to do with my Nambu
Tonight I will take some pics, I'm sure that will help everyone decide if it has any value. As I posted on another forum, I was originally interested in this because it came in an old "US" holster. The holster has a Captains name carved into it and thought it would be cool to research the ...

What to do with my Nambu
Guys, I picked this thing up for 20 bucks at a yard sale back in the late 80's. Been sitting in my safe ever since. The original grips are missing, and came with some homemade alum. grips. The lever has broken on what I assume is the safety on the left side. It has all matching #'s including the mag...

Re: Proud owner of a new (to me) XDm 40 3.8
Man, talk about amazing! I've been pretty limited on semi-autos, I have several wheel guns, an old WWII Jap Nambu (I've never shot), and a Ruger 9mm p-89 I bought back in the day. With the p89, I was lucky (and happy) just to hit paper, with the xdm, I'm able to actually choose where I want to hit t...

Re: Two new added
I know, I know.... Opinions on the internet can get, well, opinionated. HA! Here's mine. I have a Sig516, it came with what "some folks" on here would call a cheap "air soft" type red dot scope on it. Just last weekend I took it out on its maiden voyage and after sighting it in w...

Yes, I've fell in love with these guns. If you are looking to upgrade or need room in your cabinet and need to get rid of one, let me know. I'm looking for a .40 in 4 or 5" barrel and a 9mm in the compact.
Cheers!

Might as well toss in the Sig 516, where does that fit in? I'm actually looking at one now.

Long time gun owner, first time AR purchase
With so many opinions on here, I'm looking for someone in the Richmond area willing to spend a little time explaining whats worth looking at, what I should ignore. I'd like to keep my purchase under 1500. I'm hearing stay away from Olympic, Stag is "ok", build your own.... but a colt! Ok, ...
