I've heard great things about JP trigger systems. Only $200 (high end). I wonder if All In General sells that.

Re: Monthly IDPA Match at Silver Eagle in Ashburn
So sorry that I missed this posting. I'm gonna post the message so that others can get the 411. They run two flights (A & B) with one starting at like 5:30pm and the other at 7:30 or so. The A group was only about 6 folks, the B group was probably about 8. The A group seemed to be for the newer ...

Re: Ranges in North VA?
Hey... There is Blue Ridge Arsenal (Fairfax by 50 and 28). This is a good place to shoot, have rentals/sales, onsite armorer, instruction. They are going to update their facility in the next couple of months to become completely state of the art. $25 to shoot / annual memberships available. There is...

Re: Purchasing an AR15 (EDIT: Pics Added)
photo.jpg Alright, Mrs. RangeLog allowed me to make a couple of additions. I got the grip, a tac sling (need to get the VTAC 3 point), surefire light (not mounted - cuz I need to buy the right mounting kit) and last but very not least. The EO Tech reflex site. I love this optic. Took about 5 minute...

Great writing. I was unable to join the SEALS due to a prior injury. I ended up joining the Army. They have a dive program (00B).

Thanks. I will be placing an order for some new bells and whistles for the FrankenStag as soon as Miss RangeLog gets over the last $400 purchase on Tuesday, after getting the M4 on Monday.

Re: Purchasing an AR15 (EDIT: Pics Added)
SigFever, I just picked my first owned M4 on Monday (FrankenStag) and couldn't see my shots from 50 yards without assistance, I am 36 and have 20x10 & 20x15 vision. Don't feel bad. I do want to get a bionic eye so that I can do that...

All,
As far as triggers, does anyone have a preference? I am looking to get something speedy but durable.
Best,
Drew

Don't get me started on DC. Those poor people not having any place to shoot... Closest place is probably NRA Fairfax range.

I am new to the sport, but would like to check out a match. Any idea where this would happen in NOVA?
I don't mind going south, but Maryland is not friendly.

I went to check this out tonight. They had 2 time slots (5pm & 7pm). Good group of shooters, nice facility. If you are interested in this sport this is a good location for it.

I wish I had seen AIG before I bought out at the Manassas Airsoft HQ or whatever they are called. I bought a HK USP version. Very sweet.
I will check out AIG tonight. Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Mix Ammo Load
Mixing loads is going to make the possibility of a jam much more likely I'd like to think my semi is more reliable than that but wouldn't want my gun to fail in a SHTF situation. I'll stick with my HP's and use the ball ammo for the range. While on the range, I have put ball, frangible and other mi...
