Grew up there, love the place. Traffic has gotten a bit bad over the years but
what a great place to live. Full of history, outdoors activities and great food.

Re: Atlanta sting nets many guns

Depending on the neighboorhood where that store was will make it easier to see why they got so much business,... Druggies and other low lifes like money and don;t care how they get it.....Willing to bet a lot of those guns were classic garbage( Sat night specials) that aren;t even safe to fire and ...

Re: Holster Questions

One thing for certain, you will most likely end up 10 years from now having a box full of various holsters. I have tried so many over the last few decades, a few I swear by, and a bunch I thought were the greatest thing since sliced bread but learned otherwise after some practical use. Nothing wrong...

Re: Looking for a range bag.

I have used this one for roughly 9 years and well over 400-500 range visits and travel, it has served me well. Canvas, no tearing or ripping, had one worn piece on the should strap resown after 7 years and it's as good as new today. 2 gun side pouch on one side and plenty of room for tools, ear pro ...

Re: penalty for carrying?

Funny my old company (some years back) was all male and all gun owners. We spent an inordinate amount of time sharing new weapons and modifications and 98% of the office personnel were armed. Then we hired the whiner whom went home an told his wife about all the guns and she freaked out. He complain...

Re: Finally got a Glock 17.

Stick to factory mags, if you shop around a bit you can find some pretty good values and not have to worry about some of the knock-off issues. I'm no one special (except to me:) but I have run well over half a million rounds through the some 50+/- Glock factory mags I own, without ever having any ma...

Re: Black Powder

Thanks for the responses guys. Notesdev, I have the remainder of GOEX FFFg purchased in a large batch in 1974 and has been following me around the country for the last 37 years....used a good bit up before going in the service in 79' and was not sure if I should use it. Storage conditions have not b...

Re: Now THIS is a LEO encounter!

Excellent thread and debate from "gunderwood". New around here, but not to this issue. Most of my LEO friends (and wife) would agree with your thoughts and deal with the public accordingly. Hot-headed come backs and authoritarian blather do little to garner sympathy, especially when espous...

Black Powder

Hey guys
Just moved to Stafford area a few monthas ago and my son wants to take a few of my old BP weapons out for a spin. Have not found a place to pick up several pounds of BP in my area. Anyone have an idea or place close, was trying to avoid mail-order hazmat fees etc if possible.

Thanks
