Re: Clunker Math
The person who calculated this bit of information has been a professor at The University of West Virginia in Morgantown, West Virginia for the last forty some years. Sorry about this; however, as it being my alma mater, the schools correct name is West Virginia University (WVU). It is a very common...

Re: colt vs. kimber vs. springfield 1911's???
I was in this same boat several months ago. I had narrowed my search to either a Springfield GI, Kimber Custom II, or a Taurus PT1911. It took me about two weeks of research. In my opinion, you really arent going to go wrong with the choice. I would recommend seeing which 1911 fits your hand the bes...

Re: Beretta PX4 Storm Subcompact
Good review and honest. I have heard the the PX series tends to have a little sideways wiggle when shooting. So instead of going straight back it almost flips off to the side. This claim have any truth to it in your opinion? In my opinion, I did not observe this while I have had this pistol. I will...

Beretta PX4 Storm Subcompact
Hi folks, I have searched the site and could not find any information on the PX4 Storm Subcompact. Since I currently carry one, I thought I would post some information about the gun. Enjoy! I acquired the PX4 Storm Subcompact approximately around Thanksgiving, 2010. So far, I have had one round of a...

CHP Time frame?
Good morning folks,
I had a question, more along the lines of a poll, this morning.
How long did it take for you to recieve your CHP after your application was submitted?
I am curious.
Thank you much and take care!

Re: Carrying in your car...
Here's a twist. My understanding is you can carry concealed in a federal park if you have a chp. What about carrying in your car without a CHP. If I drive through a federal park, like skyline drive, am I still legal? Is open carry legal in National Parks? I don't recall. If it IS legal, I'd recomme...

Hi everybody,
Over the past few days, I have found myself reading many of the threads in this forum and I decided I should use this site to my advantage. I am looking forward to reading other threads and interacting with other gun owners in the state.
Merry Christmas everyone!
