Re: Coyotes ?
Coyote problem The Sierra Club and the U.S. Forest Service were presenting an alternative to the Wyoming ranchers for controlling the coyote population. It seems that after years of the ranchers using the tried and true method of shooting or trapping the predators, the Sierra Club had a "more h...

Re: Skidmark Legal Defense Fund
I can't bring myself to second guess what he did. Now, as far as open carry goes, that's a different story. Or maybe a second thread. I agree ORS, second guessing is not a good practice. A second thread is another good suggestion to discuss situations like this. Even better would be a bunch of enth...

Re: Skidmark Legal Defense Fund
I agree, when in a combat situation battles are not choosable. Perhaps "confrontation" would have been a better word for this scenerio.VBshooter wrote:Battles are usually not choosable and all of them need to be fought irregardless of the acts that started them,

Re: Skidmark Legal Defense Fund
Just curious, but would anyone in this Forum done things differently than Skidmark did in this situation. Skidmark had a right to question the "command" to get out of the car and he did just that! Skidmark also had the right to question the VDOT workers authority to his supervisor but acco...

Re: Taurus CIA .357 revolver question
Thanks for all the responses. I have a S&W 340PD .38 that works well on my ankle and thought about increasing fire power. The Smith light weight versions are $750 plus and too light for what I wanted. The Taurus version is approx 10 ozs. more than the Smith and I felt the extra weight would help...

Taurus CIA .357 revolver question
I'm considering purchasing this 2" revolver and would like to hear from those who either own a Taurus or owned one in the past. I'm not concerned about recoil the .357 small revolvers offer but the dependability of this weapon. I've read pro and con and have found it to be a 50/50 situation. Th...
