Re: left handed shooter
Right-handed bolt actions are possible, but slow. Handguns with safeties... really need a lefty safety. On handguns, right-handed magazine releases and slide releases are usually easy to use left handed. On rifles, right-handed magazine releases and slide releases are often (but not always) clumsy t...

Today in history - Tiananmen square
Hard to believe it has been 31 years since Tiananmen Square, today.
And my memory had totally forgot that it was the same year as the Berlin Wall coming down. Time seems to have separated them mentally.

Re: New Preppers ?
This virus, while a serious concern, isn't the plague that it's being hyped up to be. Recently, I was reading a couple of things that suggested that "normal" deaths (for example, a fatal heart attack) have been falsely reported as Covid-19 fatalities. If this is true, of course, then we r...

I've heard the "French Arcanes" were an experimental round and haven't been made for 50 years. Does anyone know of any documentation about the "French Arcanes"? It's for my curiosity, and give me proof to how crazy these law writers are. I've seen some mention in an old ammo art...

Re: How to fight the latest push for gun control
FWIW. During the recent flurry of activity, I ended up on the email list of the Virginia Constitutional Conservatives. I don't know much about them, except that they came down on the right side in the gun ban. From their emails, they are offering some classes in political activism. In Winchester: ht...

Re: How to fight the latest push for gun control
The idea behind my thinking that, is that a smaller State should be able to maintain control of itself, better. But, then I look at the OTHER small States. Of course, the other small States seem to be DC suburbs, or suburbs of NYC... so, I don't know. A new state would get a minimum of one Congress...
