It works just fine. I keep it sorted out and make a batch when I have 500 or so. Shoots as good as the large primer. I keep my brass head sorted so no problem for me to find the small primer stuff. Why not use it???

Re: 1911 FTF first round
I had the same problem with a box of WWB. Shot them and have not used them again and no more problems. Also through a Kimber. 1300 through it now and the only time was with the WWB on the first round also.

Re: Reloading now......

Thanks,, sometimes hard to get anyone to let someone else know what there paying for supply's... Got these at my local gun shop range, said they went from $5/100 to $3.40/100. Both large an...

Re: Is reloading a money saving thing, or a hobby thing?
Here's a reloading calculator, you may find interesting. I put in some numbers close to what I'm paying, and it looks like my reloads are costing me about $5 per 50, this would be for 9mm. I can live with that. http://www.handloads.com/calc/loadingCosts.asp Nice calculator. Looks like I went...

Reloading now......
Took the next step to being self sufficient in ammo on hand. Bought a reloading rig and most of the components. As always forgot a few things on first order, had to make a second. Well got it all unpacked and set up, ready for the first set of dies (.45acp). Took a few rounds to get the standard(on ...

Two Weeks for CHP
Received my CHP today, June 4, 2010. Put my application in on May 21, 2010. Took only two weeks to get, the weight listed on the permit is wrong and I called the Judge's office and she said a correct one will be in the mail Monday. She said the one I have will do just fine till I get the new one. Mu...

Re: Any info on a Kel-Tec P-11
Since .38Special is a little bit shorter than .357Mag, lead .38 special bullets tend to shave in a .357Mag. If you shoot a bunch of them this builds up and can cause an issue when changing over to .357Mag as it can pinch the cartridge and lead to high pressures. All you have to do is make sure you ...

Any info on a Kel-Tec P-11
Just received a P-11 from an Uncle. Never been fired, only taken out of box to look it. Any info on this weapon, good or bad? Has a real short grip on this thing, don't feel right in my hand. Also gave me a Taurus 66 .357 bought back in 1993. this thing has had about 5k of .38special put down range....
