Welcome! I live in that area. Of course it's a huge area you stated there! I live closer to Sterling Cascades Ashburn. Any specific questions? I have had my CHP going on a year now.

Re: Official voting experience thread

Went at about 10:30 this morning with the wife and boy. The way I parked no one could get close to us as we walked in  . We were the only voters there at the time. Took about 5 minutes start to finish and more were coming as we left. Boy got a sticker and has been wearing it all day! Is CC all...

Re: Bank Suggestions anyone?

Some of these are posted "No guns". I did not know. All the ones I have been to are not posted and I carry into them. Of course when I worked there at HQ they did not allow guns at work. Not sure about the parking lot I don't remember. I had a co-worker show me his rifles in the parking l...

Re: Beach Vacation Carry (in VA)

I searched and could not find a discussion so I will ask: Planning to go to VA Beach for a few days. Should I take the gun? (I have CHP) - Do you want to? There's nothing preventing you from doing so. Carry is certainly legal on and around the Beach... I've seen people I don't know OCing on more th...

Beach Vacation Carry (in VA)

I searched and could not find a discussion so I will ask:
Planning to go to VA Beach for a few days.
Should I take the gun? (I have CHP)
Leave it in hotel room while at beach?
Leave it locked in car?
Leave it at front desk (in their safe)?
What do you fellow owners do or suggest when on vacation?
