Chp in fauquier county
I've been working towards getting my permit and have some questions about the paperwork involved. I retrieved what I thought to be a complete list of all requirements from fauquier county's website, but have been a little confused by it's seeming contradiction with the state police website. Fauquier...

P2P Gun Purchase - Exchange of Info
I'm eagerly awaiting purchasing a new weapon this week. I'm buying this weapon from its current owner, and I do not know this person other than through this exchange. I'd like to fully document where this weapon has come from. Consequently, I've asked for both of us to sign a bill of sale. Is there ...

Concealed Carry By Association?(Another Silly Question)
I've completed my concealed carry course and am ready to file paperwork, but my fiance has raised an interesting question. All vehicles in my household are registered to my name, including her daily driver. When a LEO pulls a vehicle over that is registered to someone with a concealed carry permit, ...

Re: Short Term Storage
Thanks for all the great tips. I agree that the first cleanings have been with excessive amounts of oil. I'll reduce my use to find a better balance between 'too much' and 'not enough.' The safe is fitted for a dehumidifier setup. I'm very interested in that as well.

Short Term Storage
I've recently procured my first handgun and am loving the experience so far. However, I wanted to get a little feedback on how you all store your firearms in the short term. Specifically handguns. I bought myself a nice safe(with room for additional weapons of course), secured it in a locked room, a...

Re: which plinker
Its funny this thread started, because I was going to start one about the MKIII v. P22. I like the MKIII, but I am really drawn to the P22. How accurate are the P22's at 15 and 30ft versus the MKIII. I'm sure the MKIII would be much better, but how might someone rate them out of ten stars for accura...

Re: Legally Transporting My Weapon
Excellent response. Thank you. Does carrying a weapon in its factory case count as carrying concealed? May I transport it in its case to the range without worry, and carry it into the range while in its case? These questions are probably elementary to most, but I want to be 100% confident so that I ...

Legally Transporting My Weapon
I've done a ton of reading on where I cannot legally carry my weapon, but I haven't read anything specific about how to carry it legally. I do not have a concealed carry(yet), and I drive an SUV without a lockable trunk. How am I legally advised to carry my weapon and ammunition to the range? Can th...
