I am thinking of trading my P238. I have an offer from a guy who has a mint S&W 66-1. Pinned and recessed. My gun is also mint with only about 500 rounds down range.

Does an even trade sound like a good deal?

Green Top (and the other brick and mortar shops around here) hate transfers and try to discourage them. You'd be better served with a "kitchen table" FFL. There are still a few left. Sorry I'm still kinda green with the gun lingo. :confused: What do you mean by "kitchen table"?

I have a G26 that I use and I love it so far. I believe the slide is about a half an inch shorter than the G30 and the grip is also about a half an inch or so shorter as well. It still holds 10+1.

Wow I didn't think there was another state other then the People's Republic of California that was worse than Massachusetts when it came to gun laws.
