Looking for VA-15 lower in NoVa
I moved away about 8 years ago but am back for the holidays and looking for a VA-15 lower. Anyone in NoVa selling or know of a shop selling them? I can order from my local FFL but would rather buy in person. I'm just in town just this week, then headed back out of state.

Re: Collecting Wheel Weights
A full bucket of lead weighs a lot more than 100lbs. I wouldn't trust the handle. Pick it up from the bottom, and use the legs, not the back. Or be a man and do the atlas ball pickup, just bearhug it and throw it in your vehicle Good luck finding them. They are scarce around here, all the shops eith...

Re: Nations Gun Show - Chantilly - February 11, 12 & 13, 2011
Trader Jerrys is good. Iv bought a few from there. You can't miss their setup, usually right of center of the building. They price match any vendor in the show. Search around though because they don't always have the lowest price so it pays to hunt around. Be warned. Trader jerrys usually has lines ...

Re: Springfield XD Sub Compacts
I went from a 3" SA Micro Compact .45 to a 3" SA XD-SC 9mm because of the recoil. Was the .45 uncontrollable? Not in a million years. Unpleasant to shoot? Not even. It was just a harsher recoil, maybe even would classify it as "snappier". It made getting a 2nd and 3rd follow up s...

Re: Getting into Reloading, suggestions
If you goto the Chantilly show, there is a company called T&T Components(or it was T&T something or another) that usually has good deals. He has a pretty big setup usually to the left rear of the building. He may go to other shows to, I don't know. Back in the fall, I bought a few boxes of C...

Re: I found My new Home -Winchester Va.
Winchester is great. Real estate is cheap. Shenandoah University is a great place to work, perfect for your wife. Winchester is one of the few bigger cities that still retain a small town feel. Wait until Apple Blossom festival rolls around the first weekend in May, even the courthouse shuts down th...

Re: XD-40 Sub or 1911 Compact?!?
I too am a 1911 fanboy. I had a 3" Springfield Micro Compact ultralight that I was in love with, but it just didn't cut it for carry, IMO. IMO, the good: -felt great in the hand -accurate -trigger -small + thin(for a 1911) IMO, the bad: -heavy, even the UL model -sometimes reliability was quest...

I like the new setup. Great job. I never had a problem with the site on my iPhone before though. I guess I'm in the minority here now, but I lovethe iPhone. I manually sync, I don't get auto updates And I'm still rocking an old version to fight off the constant apple invasion. Thanks jailbreak! [ Po...

Sony Active 3-D Glasses - TDG-BR100 - Brand New
I'm selling a few pairs of Sony 3D Glasses (Model # TDG-BR100) for $115 each. They are brand new, never opened. I bought a set, and don't need them all. They are black colored. These will also work with any 3d TV that uses active shutter technology. A few different TV makers may require polarizers t...

Buying a firearm with mismatched serial numbers?
I found a deal locally on a XD that the owner says he bought with a slide showing one serial number but the frame showing another. The gun supposedly shoots great, so the fitment of the mismatched parts isn't an issue. I'm just worried about what kind of issues would come with mismatched serials wet...

Re: Hype, thy name is iPad
When I saw the first novelty sized iPhone, I thought it was crazy that anybody would pay that much for just that, an oversized iPhone. As I began to hear feedback and get my hands on them, I started to understand the hype. If you want something just to browse the net on, watch movies, or do very lig...
