Re: Smith & Wesson SW99
Gosh, I wish you'd tried the .40 first. Nice clean break. Crisp reset. Don't know what to say about your sights, though. Mine have stayed true for a looooong time. My most recent guns fired aside from mine were the HK USP .40 and the XD .40. I like them both.

Short Confrontation
Right this very minute, I am at a party in Marina, CA. Among several others here, I was parked in an illegal manner. At some point, the police were called, and they responded to begin citing vehicles. When I went out to move mine, I told the Officer that I was approaching and that I was armed. He sa...

Re: Inserting a full magazine
The reason you feel this resistance is because the round that is at the top of your magazine is being pressed forward by the spring. The springs in the SW99 magazines are under a great deal of compression, and this helps in the self feeding of the weapon. You'll note that if you remove one cartridge...

Re: Smith & Wesson SW99
I have the SW99OL chambered in .40 and I love it. It has a very quick response, it's smooth and reliable. The dealers that you've been talking to are mostly right, but one difference that I have to bring to light is the trigger pull. I think then, it just comes down to preference. If you have any qu...
