Re: webley .455 question
Safety first. I don't want to damage the gun or myself. And I don't want to kill the value either. I will have to check and see if it's already converted. .45acp is just so common, it would have been nice, especially since I already reload them. Can't wait to shoot it.

webley .455 question
Just inherited a 1918 webley .455. I heard it could be converted to shoot 45acp. Does anyone know more about this? Maybe how to tell if it is already converted? Is a big deal to convert? Does it kill the value if I do? Any info would be appreciated. Cool gun. 45acp would for sure be convenient if po...

Re: Federal 45acp brass
I posted about this awhile back ago. I had never seen them either. Now I've got buckets of them. It's a pain to have to seperate them for reloading. But brass is brass. You would be suprised how many different .45acp brands I have that have small primers.

Re: suggestions on buying a 45
Love my 1911 Kimber for a big gun, can't go wrong there. But if you want it for carry don't forget the Kahr's. I have a Kahr P45. Super light, super thin, but doesn't feel like it at all when shooting. Great gun. DAO also. Very safe. I can hip holster with a shortsleeve t-shirt and you can't see a t...

Re: colt vs. kimber vs. springfield 1911's???
I'm gonna shop around a bit. But I think I'm diggin' the Kimber Custom CDP II. Nice looking gun. I already have a compact .45 for cc. That's why I'm looking for the full size frame. More for fun and target. I like the idea of the .22 conversion kit too for cheep target shooting. But $300.. that's da...

Re: colt vs. kimber vs. springfield 1911's???
Yeah, the more I look/ask around and pick them up, I'm starting to lean back over to Kimber. I've been hearing alot of things about Colt not making the quality of gun they used to back in the day. Just what I've heard.
Thanks for the info.

colt vs. kimber vs. springfield 1911's???
In the market for a full frame 1911. I'm sure you can't really go wrong with colt, kimber, or springfield. But I was looking for some more input/opinions. I'm personally leaning "very slightly" twords the Colt. Mostly for the originality/history of the Colt 1911. But honestly at this point...

.45 acp w/ small primers??? any info??
Was reloading some .45 acp last night and came across some brass that seems to take small primers. Identical in every way except the primer size. I have never come across this untill now. Any info? Is it safe to load as normal, just use the small primer? I'm loading 230gr rn with 4 gr of bullseye, j...

Re: H-110 .357 question. Help Please!
What make do you plan on shooting the .45's in? And what kind of projectiles (That's a fancy word I learned for boolits - from gunderwood :friends: ) Got a Kahr P45. I've done some reloading with it. But have a few kinks to work out. First I figured out my gun didn't like anything other than round ...

You guys rock. Thanks for the info. That's why I turn to the pro's. I just bought some Winchester small pistol magnum primers. I will try them hopefully this weekend. Again, thanks for the input! Next I will try and master reloading .45 auto. I'm sure I will chew ya'll ears again.

Re: H-110 .357 question. Help Please!
That's what I was thinking too. A friend of mine that has been reloading for years told me to try the same thing. I haven't had any problems with the Wolf primers on any other caliber or powder. So I think you are right. Probably just now hot enough. I will try them with magnum primers. Thanks for t...

H-110 .357 question. Help Please!
Recently I shot some .357's that I reloaded. I had a miss fire, no bang. I broke open the cylinder to the gun to see what was going on. When I pulled out the shell the powder dumped out. Then I noticed the back of the barrel was also full of powder. After cleaning the powder out of the barrel I saw ...

Re: 9mm powder load question
I'm not casting. Yet anyway. One day. I was reloading with 124 grain fmj. But I just got a box of these 135 grain leads from the gun show. Just started reloading this year. I've been using Bullseye for all my other callibers. I could get another powder but I was trying to keep it simple and not have...

9mm powder load question
Can anyone give me a powder load for a 9mm 135 grain rn lead bullet using Bullseye powder. I see 125 gr and 147 grain xtp in my Lee book but nothing in the middle using Bullseye. I went to the their website and their data shows about the same. Thanks for any input.
