Would someone explain what the theory about carrying hollow points and full metal jacket ammunition staggered in magazines? I have always been told something different.

Magazine Springs...
Replaced the Mag springs in the four main carry mags for my 226 in nine. The new sig springs are neat. More progressive rate than the originals. Had a stove pipe in each mag recently so I ordered the springs. Everyone should get the new springs, they are great. Wish they were in it from the git go! ...

Re: holster suggestion
Carrying the light is for "training" and/or "special purpose"...not really doing this as a regular practice.

Revolver suggestion
I am going to need to use a four inch duty/combat style revolver for a class. Any suggestions on which one to get? I carry a 226, 21, m9, etc. For the class they require the addition of a revolver as well. Thanks.

I use a blackhawk and one from elite survival systems. Both seem to be the stuff to get.

Re: Ammo and my new E26R-9-NSWG...
To add. I haven't fired any steel ammo thru my 226. Only brass. However I did get it for considerably less than the standard 226.

AIG Tactical
I'd like to thank AIG Tactical for the price and shipping on my first purchase. The holster arrived when it was expected. More business with AIG Tactical will follow I'm sure.

Virginia Arms in Manassas
Made an accessory purchase at Virginia Arms recently. They installed that item for the greatest of price value. Another vote for them. I Lived in Manassas but moved to Va Beach. Still go there to buy some parts and other equipment.

Ammo and my new E26R-9-NSWG...
Got the new sig this past week. The shop I got it from suggested not using the wolf steel case stuff. They are telling me the steel cases are prematurely wearing extractors on the sigs. Anyone else heard this?

Anyone used "Centurion LE Shotgun Shells"? I am going to try the 2 inch mini buckshot and the Multi defense to see what it is like. Curious if anyone has tried it.

I seem to be open carrying more. Seems to be a trend here in tidewater. Anyone else open carrying more or less than before?

Was at Bob's in Norfolk today and paid $40.94 for a fifty round box of 124 gr. hydra-shok "tactical". There was a fellow customer in there spouting off about the gov't having the primers and other components of cartridges embedded with some sort of microchip or something. There were others...

On my m9 I understand there is a trigger mod that is easy. Anyone done this? The replacement .40 spring onto the 9mm. Just curious. Suggestions on what or how?
