First off Rick I hope you don't delete this so others can see the reason I'm leaving. That said here we go.
First off I admit I was wrong to fly off the handle at a certain member. Then I get a PM from Rick stating Bill and myself were mods only to help with the shoots at Bill's and we were no longer needed. Talk about being used Sounds good but it's not true. I was a mod months before Bill ever came aboard. The fact of not being a mod doesn't bother me a bit, here's what does. A certain member can constantly insult others, get a little time off the board and then welcomed back to carry on where he left off with the personnal attacks. Me I screw up one time and am no longer a mod. Putting the whole mod thing aside I just can't be part of a board where constant personal attacks are tolerated. I feel sorry for the rest of ya'll when the day comes and Rick welcomes the Westboro Baptist Church with open arms, no different than what's going on here now.

Im not sure how this discussion started but what I will say is that Im extremely proud of military and law enforcement experience. I have all of that to thank because of my father. I wish to thank Henry for having enough integrity to stated the truth and displeasure. Henry has been a good friend to my family and I thank him for that. I have enjoyed many of the members compay while they visited my parents property. Those of you who are friends know how to reach my father. The internet is just the obivious, words. I dont put much into the typed words but rather heart. Through my experiences I have found that some people will hide behind such things because they lack the heart to do those difficult tasks in life that others will. I know that there are plenty of us out there who have had to run into dangerous situations because it was our jobs while those others have run away. I will not point fingers or names but I will ask where do you fit in, I know where my father fits in. I will not stand back and have his character tarnished or challenged. I hope that this will end the discussion and negative comments by certain members

Henry - you're right about the mod thing - I was mistaken about your moderatorship. It was Bill who was pulled up to the mods area in order to discuss the first Meet and Greet at his place. I apologize for lumping you into that incorrectly, but since you both live so close together, for some reason that's how I remembered it. As a matter of fact, at the time that he was modded, Bill suggested that I might not want him up there because of his propensity to say what he was thinking regardless of how people felt about it.

You certainly could have set me straight privately since what I sent to you and Bill were PM's instead of airing it in the open forum about being "used". Really? Do you think that's how I am? Come on, Henry.

I have no problems with either one of you, and it hurts me to see you go after everything you've done and all of your great input to our discussions. Take care.
