What topsy turvy world - VA Blue, MI Red

Post by Mindflayer »

My wife is from Michigan. She consoled me when I saw Virginia blue again.

Follow that with amazement when MI went red. What kid of crazy world is this?!?

Time to drain the swap of Northern VA - where I live - and bring common sense back to the Commonwealth.

When I looked up the election results the other day..... pretty much Fairfax County is responsible for us going blue again. She won Virginia by 200k votes. Which is approx. how many votes she had more than Trump in Fairfax county. She was up another70k in Arlington but, the overall majority of Virginia's real estate voted for our President-Elect.

Time for Virginia to join Maine and Nebraska and hop on the proportional electoral vote train. This silly winner-take-all system will guarantee that Virginia Republicans and 3rd party voters will remain silenced and disenfranchised in all future presidential elections.

But by the same token, it prevented a President Al Gore and a President Hillary Clinton.

Gun-crazy? Me? I'd say the gun-crazy ones are the ones that don’t HAVE one.

I think you're confusing proportional electoral votes with getting rid of the electoral college altogether and just going by the popular vote?

McAuliff threw it for her. Time for that sycophant to vacate the office.
