Remora Holsters - Opinions?

Post by tperk100 »

Any opinions on Remora IWB Holsters. They seem like they might be very unobtrusive, comfortable, etc. Do they really work as advertised....don't move around etc?

Thanks

Well, I don't have one and opinions are free

I read lots about holsters while developing this list: http://gotnarcosis.com/brucewittmeier/t ... sters.html

There seemed to be concerns from many that they would not stay in place. However, I never read it from anyone who actually owned one. I've only heard good things from owners.

Another similar in design you may want to look at is the N8² model.

My brother loves his Remoras... says it's crazy how well they stay in place.

I ordered two of them. They are inexpensive. Will see if they are as comfy as described.

I really like these holsters! Very light weight, non obtrusive, comfortable, and they do not move around.

They look interesting. And within my budget. Thanks for pointing them out and getting back to us with your thoughts.

Do people only use them as pocket holsters or are they used as IWB holsters as well?

The 2 I purchased are for IWb. They are designed to be comfortable and not move around when directly up against your skin. I don't know if they sell pocket holsters.....don't see them on their site.

I've meaning to order one for my XD. I have two for my Shield (they were running a BOGO promotion last year) at the time it wad listed that the same holster would work for both the XD & the Shield but they've changed the stitching so they're not interchangeable & the Shield fits better now than early reports. I've never carried it IWB though, I have an IWB with a clip that I love. I(f there's any girls that read this though I am very happy with the thigh option of the Remoras)

Their shipping and customer service is great!
