Picking up my M&P 22 Friday

I bought 1000+ rounds of .22 and brought it to my local gun range to shoot through one of their .22 pistols... turns out I can't use my own ammo. Which makes sense for center-fire pistols, but not so much rimfire... but that is besides the point. When the guy tells me this I turn to my girlfriend and say "Looks like I need to get another gun.".

Got a fair price on a lightly used M&P .22 to compliment my M&P 40c and can't wait. We had a blast shooting the Ruger 22/45 Mark III at the range.

Not sure whether I should congratulate you on finding .22 ammo or the new rifle. What the heck, congrats on both

Thank you! I think it will be a great compliment to my 40c (I got the pistol not the rifle.).

I had been considering a 10-22 / M&P 22-15 / AR lower with .22 upper but... my pistol shooting needs improvement and I want that to be my focus.

I love mine, i got it a couple weeks ago. Already a couple hundred rounds into the most fun i have had with a gun.

I love shooting my m&p 22 pistol. It is second favorite to the G19. Good luck with yours.
