Hell yes Marc, Rain or shine , my shooting shack has a roof and I cut a road right to it so you can drive your truck load of Firearms really close. The canopy may be a good idea and I have several tarps. Carol and I will be there anyway and I have a couple of friends that claim they are going to camp .Swampman is also coming Friday afternoon . I also have several friends that I know will be there Saturday.

OK jdonovan , Now Carol is disappointed......She thought my buddies 45/70 Henry was about the baddest thing around. Then I gave her a little 50 cal. Info. ....( I was really hoping she was going to want one) . Oh well , maybe next time!

Just picked up a 500 round case of 300 BO! VA Arms hooked me up like a champ too! They had some slow stock (over stock) that was normally $35 for 20 rounds. Got the whole 500 for $500!

Let the shenanigans begin. LoL.

Well Guys, I've been watching the weather forecast for the rest of the week and into the weekend......It doesn't look good. The last thing I want to do is cancel . Carol and I are thinking the 10 th may be better. All weather reports indicate lots of rain and wind. We are going to see the forecast Wednesday morning and make a decision then. Please let me know if this would work for you.

NWS for Wakefield (it's what comes up when you type in Dinwiddie) says 80% chance of rain all day Friday and Saturday. That would not be much fun.

Unfortunately, this weekend is my only free weekend in October. There is a very slight glimmer of hope for next weekend, the 10th, if I can figure out something to do with the dog. Wife will be out of town so she is my responsibility. I'll think about it and see what I can come up with.

We really need the rain, but dang it anyway!

Randy, the weather is gonna be fairly hostile. If you want to reschedule, you can count me in just about any weekend.

For what ist worth... turn out might be higher and people will have more fun if its not 60 degrees and raining. I'm pretty sure Nick and I are the only crazy ones who don't care. LoL

Unfortunately there is no way I can make the 24th. Band buddies are in town that weekend for a recording session. Hoping to get enough tracks down for 2 projects.

Carol and I would like to invite all VGOF members and families to spend a day at our property in Dinwiddie , Hopefully it will be a little cooler this year, We plan to have Brunswick Stew , We will also have water for washing hands and a Porta-Potty, If worked out pretty well last year, when everyone posted a list of things that they will bring, We have plenty of room and are hoping to see as many as possible, Property Address: 20781 Reese Rd, Dinwiddie , VA 23841. My cell 804-712-6030 , We have a Rifle and Pistol Range and most Legal Firearms are Welcome , If anyone wants to come earlier they are welcome to Camp !

The worst part of all this is now I have to hang around this weekend with all these crazy women. Good thing my fridge is full of beer, and in the garage where I'll be hibernating all weekend.

I'll be looking forward to next year that much more!
