I'll try Superior tomorrow, but if I see anybody holding a gun sideways with pants around their knees like the reviews are reporting then Fort Lee looks promising after I get back to work.

Bob's Gun Shop in Norfolk has a small range. Went there a couple years ago when I was at a conference. They have 5 or 6 lanes and it was 10 or 12 yards. I believe it was $10 and you could shoot as long as you wanted, as long as no one was waiting. Limited to an hour when busy. I shot for a couple hours, and that was enough anyway. Probably an hour from you, but may be worth a try if you get out that way.

Just got back, I was nervous as hell at first but I managed to hit the target with most of my rounds. They charge 15 plus the cost of targets, I spent $16.80 just to use the range.

78 rnds due to my budget, spent about 15 minutes there. Need to work on my grouping but I think I did pretty good at 20-25 feet.

Hell yeah, Doctor just approved me to go back to work. As soon as I get job I'll be able to save up for a good semi-auto rifle.
