Re: Legal Question about Concealing in a resturant.

"My guess is we will begin to see no gun signs at some restaurants where before there were none if it passes." You know what I question? What if a restraurant, that is PRIVATE PROPERTY, put up a sign that says "Authorized Concealed Carry ALLOWED!" Would that circumvent the "...

550 Paracord

Love this stuff! Buy some every gun show.

Between the usual usages, anyone have any out of the ordinary usages? I know one guy who stated "if yer ego can take the ribbin', you can use it to knit, or crochet items that are unbelievably strong".

That's the oddest one so far.

Re: Survival Websites

I wonder with our proximity to D.C. are they're any homes from the 50's with a fallout shelter in the backyard?

That would ROCK!

Re: What do you know about the American Revolution?

100%!

If you've every watched the movie "The Patriot", quite a few questions can be answered. Specifically, Yorktown being Cornwallis' place of surrender.

And a brief mention of "Salomon" in one of the speeches in the director's cut.

Re: Time for a 28th Amendment

My two cents? Please do not convene a Constitutional Congress, because they would more than likely talk themselves to death, and we'd LOSE more rights than we GAIN!

Re: Band of brothers

Dick Winters, Carlo Hathcock, and Teddy Roosevelt. Three heroes. No better men could be found to do the jobs they did in the events they were placed. People who idolize movie stars, and entertainers (including writers/musicians/etc) are missing out on the opportunity to uphold people who understand ...

Re: Remembering Audie Murphy

Why do they feel the need to break down our heroes AFTER they have passed on, and few remember them? They've done it to our Founding Fathers, they're doing it to those we hold in esteem.

It's tiresome.

Let me have someone, other than God, to revere please.

Re: Remembering Audie Murphy

Audie Murphy is in one of my favorite Westerns. "No Name On The Bullet." 1959. It's a psychological drama before they were all the rage! I wish someone would remake THAT movie! They still wouldn't touch Audie's performance. He was fresh out of the studio schools, and in some of the lines, ...

Knives, we all got 'em!

I'm a Cold Steel man personally, but I've a friend whose a Benchmade fanatic. The debate still rages. For me? I love the Cold Steel 4" folding Tanto. It just performs fantastically in both Urban, and Rural environments. It wasn't overally expensive ($50 on sale), and if thrown/dropped/broken, I...

Re: Firearm Unfriendly Businesses in Virginia

That idea is CLASSIC! Spend the money, take the bill, fax the main part, and the definition, and then explain that is LOST business! If the manager isn't concerned, find the PARENT company, and show THEM! I know we can go other places that are GUN FRIENDLY, but you know that if we can change MINDS, ...

Re: gander mountain, fredericksburg VA

I'm kinda spoiled, I live in "Ammo Alley", we have a Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, and a Dick's Sporting Goods, along with Greentop Sporting Goods, about a couple miles of each other on I-95. I don't go to one particular store,I can get the bargains by going there, and shopping around. If you...

Re: Firearm Unfriendly Businesses in Virginia

Keep in mind ALL REGAL CINEMAS are anti-gun, and ALL SIMON MALLS are anti-gun. I have been around, and around with them to no avail trying to knock some sense into them. :bangin: BOWTIE is NOT, BUT they serve alcohol, and I haven't OC'd in quite some time. You know what would be an idea, let some of...

Re: Non citizen

Keep in mind, gun shops reserve the right to refuse to sell a weapon if there are any questions in mind. They don't want to make an error, and lose their FFL.

So it could be the newness of the address that causes them issues.
