Let's list those places that go out of their way to welcome law-abiding citizens who carry!
We had an Open Carry dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse in Dulles. I know there was one at Moley Bros. BBQ in Sterling too.
I'd like to find a credit union that has branches in or near Reston and Chantilly that does not ban carrying.

Apple FCU says:
Apple FCU recognizes the Code of Virginia and the Laws of Virginia as they pertain to concealed weapons and weapons carried open and in plain view. Additionally, Apple FCU also recognizes the Second Amendment and Federal Laws as well as local laws and ordinances.

Hometown Bank apparently had no guns signs, but then listened to reason and removed them. That gives them high marks in my book!

Fairfax County FCU says:
The credit union does not currently have a policy related to firearms in a branch as long as you have the appropriate permits. However, please understand that due to the security concerns of a financial institution, the staff has been instructed to notify police of any suspicious, intimidating or threatening behavior of anyone in our branches.

I know Hard Times in Manassas and the one in Woodbridge allow OC... just ask that there is no consumption of alcohol. The owners and managers are very big on the 2nd Ammendment.

Wings Zone on Staples Mill became my place for wings after Buffalo Wild Wings made their "stand".
Fried Pickles, and a NICE variety of wing sauces! I highly recommend them!

Mcdonalds maybe. The Mikky D's next to my house on Rt3/Ferry road didn't bat an eye at the kid with the Glock on his hip one night. Quite surprising really. Caught me off guard. But no one in the place seemed to care. Nice.

Buffalo Wild Wings will never see another dime of my money - ever. They invited the law to visit me when I was open carrying one night with my wife and 4 kids in F'burg. F'them.
I think BB&T has a corporate No Guns policy. Look for a sticker like this on the front doors or on the main drive-thru teller window:

The BB&T in my neighborhood used to have a "no guns" sign, I believe, but when I walked in this weekend I noticed the main doors had no signs except for the lobby hours and "smoke free facility". I didn't go to to the back door to look, and I didn't ask. Many tellers are already a bundle of nerves!

Sorry for quoting myself, but the BB&T in my neighborhood does have a "no guns" sign. It's not on the door where all the other signs prohibiting smoking, soliciting, etc., and giving lobby hours are located. It's inside a tinted window, down in a corner of the glass, around a corner from the main doors, down low near some bushes. Not very noticeable, but it is there.

Urban BBQ in Ashburn Village. We've had some open carry nights there. It's also good food!
