At the NRA range in Fairfax...
League!
Sharpen your shooting skill and meet other local shooters as a member of one of the NRA's shooting leagues! Monday nights, beginning at 5 p.m., the Metropolitan Pistol League meets for bullseye competition with .22 pistol. Sunday nights (September through April), beginning at 5 p.m., the Acorns, a junior league, meet for smallbore rifle competition. There's no need to be an expert -- with handicap levels for every class of shooter, you win by competing against yourself. So come on out for wholesome fun, fellowship and friendly competition!

There is a bullseye league at the NRA. If you're interested in something a little faster, Blue Ridge arsenal has IDPA matches monthly, they also have the occassional 2-gun matches there. I believe Fairfax Rod and Gun club are also having IDPA matches. There are USPSA matches in Fredericksburg, Summit Point, and Lebanon, WVa. There are also steel matches down in Mechansicsville. I'm sure I didnt list them all, but someone will.

Whats up Greg? Been a while since I've chatted with you. So are you still shooting the IDPA at Blue Ridge?

I really need to get back in to it. If you are what times do you tend to compete. I'll try and join up again.
