Loads for FN LAR

I am trying to find a suitble hunting load for my LAR / FAL. I have a fair supply of GI "IVI" and WRA 68 brass along with some "GGG" brass. I keep them seperated as there is a fair difference in case capacities. I want to develope a hunting load that will launch a 130 to 150 gr bullet at 2400 to 2800 FPS. I realize that is a large scope of performance levels, the hunting I do is close (150 yards or less ) and the rifle has only issue sights. I tried optics but they made an already heavy rifle to heavy and messed up the handling. One problem I have had is that the brutal feed cycle tend to mash any exposed lead. Ive tried Nosler ballistic tips; no crimping groove and the bullet sometimes gets shoved back into the case. Does anyone make a "protected point" bullet with a crimping groove. Any ideas?
