Can a Gun Trust be set up between trustees in different state? I live in Virginia and my children live in Florida, can I set up a Gun Trust between myself and my children?

you REALLY need to talk to a lawyer for legal advice.
I'm not a lawyer, and not providing legal advice, so my lay-persons understanding of this is:
First of all there is no such thing as a gun trust. You are simply establishing a trust to hold items of value. If you decide to only place firearms, and firearm accessories in the trusts name, that is your choice.
You establish the trust in a specific state, according to that states laws. The trustees may be located anywhere. The trust is governed by the law in the state in which it is created. Once established a trust is generally recognized in all 50 states.

Third the lawyer. Make sure they are very well versed in federal gun laws - I have serious reservations about trusts with trustees in more than one state.
