Now, you know what I am talking about here, some project you were working on that just didn't go right, but still works (insert any AR pictures in this thread!). I wanna see them Ugly Ducklings that fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way down. I'll start:

Mosin Scout Rifle: This is made from a 35 dollar T-53 Chinese Mosin Nagant. When I mailed my C&R off for this on a "why not" whim, I got back a workable rifle, but a stock that was literally disintegrating every time I handled it. So, it became firewood, and I replaced it with an ATI stock, popped out the rear sight spring and range indicator, popped on a Picatinney rail setup, added a fixed power 2.5X handgun scope, and swapped out the bolt handle. The gun shoots surprisingly well out to 100 yards. Granted, it took me a box of ammo to get it zeroed, but it does work. Total cost: under 150 dollars.

Glock 19. Sorry, Glocks in general are just plain ugly. Functional, reliable, but Ugly:

That Model-60 is pretty ugly. BG take one look at that run like all get out...

Here's some more ugly. This is my Japanese Arisaka Type 99 "Last Ditch" rifle. I guess it was hard to polish a rifle with B-29s overhead...

Not a bad looking rifle and like Speedy's shotgun will no doubt get the job done. Nice looking sword though.

Ask nicely and I will bring the Folding 60 to the Shoot & Greet! (Yes, it is mine... I made it all myself!)

I'll bring a cheesecake if you bring that 60....

I'd love to make the Shoot n Greet but probably will have to miss this one. I close today on a house and we've got the picnic tomorrow. Young already has a new list of honey doos for me.

Here's an ugly one! This is one of the guns XXX used in the first movie.

Is the front of the barrel a bottle opener?

Everyone calls the Hi Point 995 ugly so here's mine.

I tried to wipe some of that ugly off with an ATI stock and I think it helped dramatically.
