Yes, because matches, beans, rice, dehydrated milk, and toilet paper are such threats to nation security. Give me a break. I swear they come up with stupid things to do so they don't have to do the hard work of actually watching out for terrorists. Like a 5 year old that cleans up the crayons 5 times over because he does not want to sort out the puzzle pieces and the blocks. "We don't want to actually have to look for terrorists that is too hard so we are going to assault every person in the airports and investigate people buying camping supplies because looking for terrorists is hard."

You know the difference between survivalist, preppers, and campers? Not a damned thing... Someone who camps has the gear to survive basic disasters. A Prepper would be okay in the woods, just add a sleeping bag, and tent. A survivalist would be just fine with a loss of electricity.

I'm guessing that no one listens to them except terrorists and extremists.

And those of us that spent two weeks at home with no power, water, etc after Hurricane Isabel. That learned me to be better prepared, especially this time of year.
