I am looking for recommendations for a competent gunsmith located near the Tidewater VA/N.E. N.C. area to do some cosmetic work on a couple of guns. Nothing too involved, just replacing and grinding to fit a recoil pad and repair some cracked woodwork on a few shotguns. Amazing to me that a region of over 2 million residents has so few options as far as a good gun store or gunsmiths. Thanks.

Thanks for the direct to this gunsmith, I will check it out. Would Mr. Yurina happen to have a phone number that I could contact him at?

I still have (757) 201-3767, but I think he must have changed it recently.

That is the correct number, good luck getting him to answer the phone though. If you go looking for the place you probably wont find it unless you know to turn in the parking lot just before indian river where all the boats are.

If you can drive to the Glen Allen area Rick at TTI gets a ton of great reviews. It may be a long drive, but it might be worth it if you can't find anyone in your area.
