Have a Kessler shotgun...the word "Nitro" is stamped on both barrels...Need help understanding what "Nitro" mean in this context...thanks, Carl

There is quite a bit of information available on Kessler Arms shotguns via Google search. The general opinion is that "Nitro" refers to the shotgun's preference for smokeless powder.
