Alright then...
I think I'm going to check out the Fort Lee POW (personally owned weapons) range this weekend... Has anyone in the area been down to check this out?

I go there quite often. It's a good place to shoot. They have some calibre limitations but you can shoot most handguns, shotguns, and rifles out to 100 yards.

it's a pretty good range considering there's not tomany options around this area. It is well managed and safe there to. thats definately a plus. They are only open on sundays that sucks and you can shoot rifles up to .223/5.56. Look them up on the FT lee MWR website and get the # to range control to call and see if there open before you go sometimes they are closed due to training.

Thanks everyone...
Dominion will allow you to shoot frangible .223..... At $25 for 20 rounds... Talk about a great alternative... I just picked up the AR-15 this spring and this will be the first time shooting and sighting it in...

I have been to the Fort Lee Skeet/Trap Range and it is a good option. Can't speak for the POW range.
