Steve here, moved over from Australia for the long term.
Very interested if anyone can point me in the direction of some Lithgow Armoury no1 Mk3 SMLE Enfields, that are in good shooting condition. so long as the bore is great and all the parts are there I will happily take care of the rest.

Can't point you in the direction of an Enfield, but I'm sure someone will come along who can.
I like the Yorktown area. Closer to Richmond now, but I used to live near Yorktown, on the other side of the bridge. You won't find it on a map, but ask a local where Guinea is.

I have looked around online, generally prefer to my dealing face to face but it does look like I will have to use an online auction site the way things are going.

Oh and another note, its an Aussie rifle... British design however...

Yeah I would image it would be hard to just the condition.

My mistake I see Enfield I think Brits! How long did the Australian's use it?

I think it was used from about 1910ish until about the 50's or 60's.

Great rifle though.
