Just a quick question.
Is there a reliable source of information on how many VA CHPs have been issued?
Resident vs. non-resident?
TIA

230k?
Must be a real bloodbath with all those people walking around with guns!
A real Dodge City I bet!

Just think: Some of those 230,000 people are eating dinner right now in an establishment where alcohol is being served.
And not a single one has shot anyone in the past year because their steak was undercooked

No, but let it be overcooked. Now that calls for a shootin'!

You know that whole "Blood bath" thing only happens in GUN-FREE ZONES!
Research it, seriously... the only places that get "shot up", are states, counties, and locations that BAN, or RESTRICT firearms.
When was the last GUN RANGE "Blood bath"!?!?

Impressive! Who's is keeping score? Where can that number be found?
Not that I don't believe you, that number is quite close to the national average (permits/100,000) for a state that has had CC for a long period of time.

As of 2007
http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/inde ... 61555.html
About 2 percent of Virginians, 135,789 of us, have concealed handgun permits. In the New River Valley, 3,826 people have them, a slightly higher rate than in the rest of the state.
