Apparently, our nation's legacy of American exceptionalism is alive and well, as demonstrated by those common, law-abiding Californians who have chosen to stake their names, faces, and professional reputations in the name of defending that which is greater than themselves--the basic, fundamental, and enumerated civil right to self defense.

Good and inspiring article, thanks for posting it and for using the power of the pen to get the word out.
What I find to be especially encouraging is how Californians are winning local battles.
I don't know if you linked directly to Sam Wolanyk's story
http://www.responsiblecitizensofcalifor ... lse-arrest ,but I think it would be a good idea as Sam's story covers a lot of detail of his experience concerning his unlawful detainment.
