I think we'll be boating much of the weekend, shooting some fireworks at a friend's beach near the Potomac River, cooking out. It will be a loooong, hard-fought weekend

Going to the range! Anyone else see the irony in fireworks restrictions that essentially require that the government celebrate our independence on our behalf? (After all, if we were allowed to have our own fireworks, we'd probably just hurt ourselves!) Oh, almost forgot: shooting my son's Red Ryder in my backyard.

What independence...we be nothing more than prisoners in a gilded cage...

I'll be bbq'ing with the family and shooting fireworks. I probably will manage to throw a few brews back as well. Stay safe, and remember one thing.....

Contrary to the Gospel of Gore carbon dioxide does a poor job of heat retention, sorry to burst your bubble.

Now, if you really wanna melt some caps, methane is what will do it. I recommend you bake some beans on said grill and then let nature run its course a safe distance from pets and loved ones.

Wishing I had a nice quiet piece of land to go shoot on. The indoor range is virtually guaranteed to be crowded as heck.

We have our issues, and I believe we are a Nation in distress but we are still one great nation.

Went to the range and shot the loudest guns I own on the 50. Tomorrow it will be a cookout with friends and some fireworks.

I do declare that smoked pork butt is nothing short of an old-fashioned tent revival in a smoker. If anybody ever doubted there was a God, he has only to experience what a little red hickory smoke does to hawg meat - particularly the butt. That can't possibly be a happy coincidence spawned by blind chance in a cold, uncaring clockwork universe. That is too good to be anything but a devine blessing. Here's wishing you a great porkgasm. I know I'm counting on one.

Part of what I'm doing is ROTFLMAO at that photo! Perhaps one has to have lived on a farm with livestock to appreciate that!

Went camping the past to days at Bugs Island with some friends and their church group this past weekend. Did some boating, tubing and such(no fishing I don't enjoy it). Now burnt to a crisp and tired out.
