1. More information on Fairfax Board of Supervisor hearing on pneumatic guns set for Tuesday, 6/21/11

EM Bruce Novitsky has done some digging for me and he was told by the Clerk for the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors that the time for the hearing on the new pneumatic gun law is set for 5 P.M. on Tuesday, June 21st.

It will be held at the Board Auditorium, 12000 Government Center Parkway.

It is not officially listed on the agenda for that evening, which makes me think they are planning to get input on the new law during the general comment time. You can register on-line to speak at the event.

The Board of Supervisors is hoping to only hear from the antis about how unfair and dangerous it is to allow people to shooting BB guns on their own property.

We need to be there in numbers to express our SUPPORT for the new law.

2. More information on Adam Gadahn, al-Qaeda's Amerian-born spokesman, from last update

In the last update, "5. Reader response: Fake al-Qaeda spokesman?", Curtis Pollack questioned whether the spokesman for al-Qaeda, traitorous American-born Adam Gadahn, is really a Muslim and a true spokesman for al-Qaeda or someone with a separate anti-gun agenda (since Gadahn's talking points sound like something written by either Sarah Brady or anti-gun Mayor Michael Bloomberg).

I looked into Gadahn some more, based on input from two email I received earlier today.

I think the confusion about Adam Gadahn, who was born Adam Pearlman in Oregon, is based on mixing up his partly-Jewish bloodline with his religion (he was apparently raised a Protestant Christian and later converted to Muslim based on information I have found from several different sources).

Whatever his bloodline or his religion, Gadahn's use of Brady/Bloomberg rhetoric on guns certainly has raised some eyebrows and makes one think that there might be an alternate or an additional agenda item in Gadahn's message - disarming American citizens (something that would indeed benefit terrori
sts).
