Taurus PT709 slim

100 rounds of WWB 9mm
50 rounds steel case tula 9mm
Distances
7 yards
15 yards
Small, light, yet similar to the Glock 19 in firing/trigger pull, which was a bit on the heavier side. As for CC the pistol is comfortable to carry concealed while walking and driving and is invisible even with a regular t-shirt worn IWB. No sharp angles or other edges to chafe.
Accuracy was acceptable if held in a tight weaver grip, the weapon does have more kick to it due to its size and weight. The tight grip and kick get rather uncomfortable after three or four magazines, loosening the grip results in poorer groups. Firing one handed...well...not very good.
At 7 yards first time I managed one and a half to two inch groups right off the bat, not stellar, but, good enough to drop someone. At 15 yards I managed with some effort to get roughly three inch groups. Not a good range gun, but, didn't expect it to be.
From the 150 rounds (some magazines I loaded with WWB and the tula mixed and matched for variety) it had 0 FTE or FTF, which actually really impressed me given the low price I paid (300) and its seemingly weak construction.
Overall its a nice comfortable carry piece for day to day use, nothing fancy, and works well for the price.
Will update when I get a chance to fire hollowpoints.
