This is an ongoing story that unfolded earlier this week as a man, that was mistakenly released from jail, abducts another man before shooting a Chesapeake police officer. Here's the original story from the VA Pilot.

Now it's been released that the shooter used a AK-47 style "assault weapon". The VA Pilot's usual left-leaning reporting and misinformation are in today's paper as expected.

Police say they are still trying to trace the AK-47. To get a permit for one, some people say they are buying the guns for large game hunting, Branch said.
At least they got the point across that it was semi-auto, but don't these idiots know that a permit is not required? We got all these gun laws. What we really need are laws that would hold media accountable for reporting unbiased facts.

OakRidgeStars I'm beginning to like the way you think. Of course there could be exceptions...
