P11 Range Report

Well, I managed to take the P11 out to the range today.
I put 50 total rounds through 'er, but here are just some of those 50.
I'm not sure what exactly I was expecting, but despite the compact size, I think I expected a little than I should have.
The left target was at about 7 yds (at most, probably a little under), and the right was about 10 yds.
As you can see, it shoots a little low, and while not terrible at 7 yds, just moving it that extra few feet pushes it to the edge of it's potential.
I'm hardly a pistol marksman, but for a self protection concealed gun, it'll do.
The recoil, although a 9mm, felt much like my full size .45 1911 did thanks to the small size.
The trigger pull was no issue for me, but I have heard others complain about it.
I had no feed issues. All 50 rounds went down range without even a hiccup. This is better than some reports I've heard.
I've also read other reports that said 50 rounds through the P11 and the shooter's wrists were hurting. I didn't have this problem.
I don't think I'd enjoy putting 200+ rounds through in one visit, but I haven't had the pleasure of doing that with any of my personal weapons
yet, sadly enough.
Some people about the slide lock not releasing easily enough. I overcome this problem by using it only as the name suggests. To release the slide I pull it back til the lock drops then let the slide slam home, atleast on a loaded mag. If the gun in empty, I'll ride it for the sake of wear prevention.
I'm not in love with it, but she'll do for personal defense as a concealed pistol. However, I may have to hasten my purchase of a more range friendly pistol.
