The Buckeye Firearms Association has sent out a press release and actually bought ads in State Representative Matt Lundy's home district. Lundy received support from both Ohio gun organizations in the light of his responses to a survey that was sent out to all candidates and incumbents before the last election.
He then proceeded to stab us in the back.

The fact is, Matt Lundy gave gun owners his word that if they voted for him, he'd be with them when they needed his vote.

Sadly, it took just 36 days from the election for Lundy to expose the possibility that he had lied on his BFA candidate survey (and therefore to Ohio gun owners), and just three months to confirm it.

Man you guys even ran ads supporting him. So what's the plan now? And how do you stop it in the future?

I don't believe that the BFA ran any ads for any politicians.

As I said in my OP in this thread:
Lundy received support from both Ohio gun organizations in the light of his responses to a survey that was sent out to all candidates and incumbents before the last election.
The two organizations are the BFA and OFCC.

The first ads run about pols were the ads saying that Lundy is a liar.

UPDATE!

Yesterday, 5/7/2011, Representative Lundy held a town hall meeting and admitted to lying and called the Luby's massacre a "hypothetical" situation.

This was posted by one of the people at the meeting:
Ohio Legislature Sorely misinformed about House Bill 45
Lundy characterized such robberies and attacks, such as the one that left Suzanna Hupp an orphan (23 dead and another 20 wounded) as “hypothetical scenarios”. In other words, in his mind, it never happened. This was a direct slap in the face to this courageous lady and all of the victims that suffered tragic losses that day. It is also an admission that the word of a police union spokesperson carries more weight that the obituary.
