well i havent gotten a new handgun yet but sent out to my prince william county for my chp today. the countdown begins. at least when i do get my handgun the bases will be covered.

Fresh out of surgery and recently back to work. Waiting for money to come back into my bank before I can purchase. The wait isn't necessarily voluntary just money related.

so far so good. application is in the court system. didnt expect to see it in the case file so quickly. hopefully the rest goes as quickly.

chp came in sat. entered the system 4/18 approved 5/18 received 5/21. prince william county. now just waiting for my holster.

How did you know it was in the court system already? nevermind, I figured it out lol. Mine still isnt showing up in Stafford County....been since Apr 15th *grumble*

the va court system case info doesnt appear to be immediate. it didnt show up til may 14 that my background check was done on apr 22.

Well I got it. Ended up calling the circuit court and asking if there were any issues. She said they tried to call me on the 27th of April, but could not leave a message. Oh well...at least I got it. It never did show up on the VA Court website search either. The permit says it was issued on April 20th....

Thanks! Also went and ordered a SIG 229...should get it in a week or so. Looking forward to it. Ever since I carried one while I was deployed I've wanted one of my own!
