So I picked me up a shotty today. Planning to use it for hunting aswell as home defense. Wonderin if anyone knew of any good hunt clubs in va?

Hey, I bought one of those today too! I think I paid too much, since I ended up seeing another one at a different dealer for about $40.00 cheaper. Whatever, I guess.

I got mine with all 3 chokes for $200 flat.
Got it from a guy on another forum I go to. Verry nice shotgun, I want the black stock and foregrip though this one is equiped with the wanna be wood one. Congrats on the addition!!

It's amazing the price differences you get under one roof.
One gun I looked at was $369.99 at one table, $429.99 at another, and even $439.99 at one other. You'd think they'd be willing to check out the competition and alter prices.

I looked at one in Dicks they wanted $449 for it, two barrels, one was cantilever and had a red dot scope. I thought it was too much money, I told the guy if he gave it to me for $379 I'd buy it. I think it was a 535, don't quote me on that model number, may not be right.

I'll more than likely get a Mossberg. I never owned one before.

Must be a Mossberg weekend, just picked up the SA-20 out in Winchester this afternoon.... Just gotta wait for my bday in 5 weeks to use it (Stipulation from the household CFO)

I've got an old Sears/Mossberg 500 (12 ga) that I got 35 years or so ago. That has been one hard working shotgun let me tell you. I paid $99.00 for it with two barrels, a 28" modified and a 24" rifle sight slug barrel (smoothbore). I've never used the slug barrel in all, but the modified one has put more than a few deer on the ground with No. 1 buckshot. It's still going strong today.

It's been such a good gun, I bought a 20 ga to go along with it not too long ago. I haven't had a chance to shoot that one yet.

One of the really good buys in guns today IMHO.

Glad to hear another good reply. I'm planning on taking it out this weekend coming up. Friend of mine has about 23 acres we are going to go shoot on. Will be sure to post my .2 cents
