I have a S&W Model 36 from the 60s and needs a very good tear down and cleaning.

Are there any gunsmiths in the area that I can take this too?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks again guys. I stopped and met Randy i think it was, at Savage arms and he was a really nice guy to speak with. Dropped off the revolver and it should be ready this week.

Yarddawg - does Mario Ruffino run a store front at all?

Mario did have a store front on Mercury Blvd. some years ago. As I understand it, he is now semi-retired and smithing out of his house.

Google him for testimonials to his work http://lmgtfy.com/?q=mario+ruffino+gunsmith

I have dealt with Six Rivers Armory and cannot say a negative thing about them, I have done class III paper work with them, consignment sales (lowerst rate in town), FFL transfer from Guns America with them. Eveything has gone smooth. I would recommend going there. the owner works at the front counter the majority of the time and is patient and will work with you no matter how new you are to guns he will assist you and answer your questions. :clapping:

As I stated under my Profile, I currently custom build and service AR's of any sort, M4's etc. I have a shop on my property am located near Williamsburg, VA. I do this cost free as it is a hobby for me being Retired Military at 48yrs old. I have extensive references from the West Point Police Chief, Tactical Air Services of Canada and from Global Rapid Response. If I can help anyone here just shoot me a PM or EMAIL so we can make contact and you can give me a brief history and description of your problem. Peace.
