New carry weapon

Post by Vahunter »

My XD got to be a little on the heavy side for everyday carrying and figure in my bad back, I had to down size a bit. I have always said I would never own a ugly Glock but after shooting DK's 26 I had to have one. Bill put in the 3.5 connector yesterday and it shoots great. Even has night sights.

Nice buy. I just got a G19, and every time I see a Sub-Compact Glock I think, 'Man I should have gotten that instead".

Nice glock. My first glock was a 22c 20 years ago. I still have a glock 22c, it also has night site, 2 lbs trigger, accurized barrel, extended mag release, extended slide release and retoned guide rod spring. It's heavy but accurate as I want it to be.

ps. I love the homeboy "nyte sytes" I laughed pretty damn hard at that.

made for Glocks only btw, however, some of the smarter thugs in da hood have modified them for high points...

Funny story about Henry's Glock 26. "Somebody" bought me one just like it this past Christmas. I knew it was a pistol but made sure that no disappointment showed on my face...a Glock isnt something I would consider purchasing for myself. Well, I went ahead and got a holster and a couple of extender mags and took it down to Henry's place to try it out. Shot really nice and even Henry was impressed. So, a couple of weeks later someone on this board (Bravo11) popped up with a very nice Remington 870 and I negotiated a trade...for the Glock... I've wanted an 870 for some time to replace the old NEF under the couch...So then Henry sends me a note subject: Guess What You Did? My response was, yeah I know...please dont tell Young... :hysterical:

Young and I will be going to visit Henry and Sherri next weekend where Henry will no doubt proudly show off his Glock 26 and I will cower with my 870 hoping "somebody" doesnt notice...

No need Henry. I thought about it and reminded myself that she's a Korean woman so all guns look alike to her... :hysterical:

Awesome I love the holster black and tan contrast. Gives it some character!
