Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck announced Monday that his officers will no longer automatically tow the cars of illegal immigrant drivers stopped at sobriety checkpoints. The policy comes in response to the concerns of Latino civil rights activists, who say impound fees are unfairly costing otherwise hardworking illegal immigrant drivers hundreds of dollars.
So, the legal hard working citizens of KA still have to pay the impound fee...wow...this notion of becoming a mexican citizen and then sneaking back across the border is becoming more attractive by the minute...

certainly shows where the problem lies in this country,,Listening CA? The bad part is the group of whiners gets any attention at all;;;;; To come right out and say" illegals" and then have a dipshiP police chief give in to their demands is just ridiculous. They must vote for Police Chief in LA too huh? Someone needs to explain the difference between a citizen and an illegal anything , then make it sink in by enforcing the laws not ignoring them.

Right. He must be one of those police chiefs out there making $500k per year. Poor hardworking illegals cant afford an impound fee for driving without a license. *whine* *snivel* its not their fault *whine* its illegal for them to get a license *snivel* not their fault I tell you, unfair, unfair...
