Someone had to do it, so let the pre-game smack begin

Do we get a prize if our team wins?

All prizes are to be determined later. Much later.

Well I am going to go out on a limb and say either the Steelers or the Packers are going to win. I feel that is a safe assumption.

Personally, I'm rooting for the little Fox Robot Player.

I'm hopeful that the sound system fails during another crappy halftime show. I guess the NFL ran out of outdated British bands for an American sport. Hasn't been worth watching since ZZ TOP brought Harley's to the Superdome.

The only thing worse than a Steelers fan during a losing season is a Steelers fan AFTER a winning season.

Puppy Bowl anyone?
I'll be at work and finally head home around 9, so I'm expecting a good amount of police checks in NoVa.

I think I'll just watch Sponge Bob reruns. More interesting.

Did you know that there will be no cheerleaders at this year's Super Bowl?
What has happened to this country?

Like most effeminate liberals I couldn't care less about sports, why invest time and energy in stuff you have no control over and doesn't affect your life anyway? Dont know who is playing, dont care.
I'd rather play xbox for mindless entertainment, at least I can control the action ya know?

Here's a preview of five commercials that will be aired during tomorrow's game. Now you have no reason whatsoever to watch the Super Bowl.

I refuse to click the link, it may ruin a few of the precious minutes of commercials. That's all I watch the game for anyways. I can't be alone in that.

They have invited Janet Jackson instead.

I like watching games for the fun of it, but I don't make time to watch the games (any sports). I actually missed the whole season this year and I wouldn't bother with the SuperBowl if it weren't for the fact that Pittsburgh is playing. The only sporting event I made an effort to watch regardless of what team is playing was the World Cup, but that doesn't happen every year. I do like watching the Stanley Cup, but I only watch my team. Unlike football, I usually watch the playoffs until the Penguins loose.

Hey! Pittsburgh is my hometown.

WTF is Obama doing on a Super Bowl preview show. Jeez, I actually emailed Fox sports and gave them an earfull. Is there anywhere in America this bastard doesn't wanna ruin??
Oh yeah, Go Steelers.
(and yes I am very aware of the Rooney/Obama connection)

Ditto!
But in Richmond, Henrico/RPD/Hanover/Chesterfield are all chomping at the bit for DUI's, so if you drink? Chill, stay in one location, call a cab, or get a Designated Driver to take you home.
If you're not drinking? Enjoy the checkpoints. "Have you had anything to drink tonight?" -LEO "Not yet, you offering?" -Me.
