VA is on the list of top 10 Senatorial races in 2012.. George Allen is planning on challenging Jim Webb and with the Tea Party backing he could IMHO win it easily.

1. VIRGINIA – George Allen’s official entry into the race sets up a potentially epic rematch with Sen. Jim Webb, but only if the former Marine decides the slow-moving Senate is worth the grind of another campaign

I was under the impression there was already a Tea Party candidate, and she's not Governor George...

I should have made that Tea Party remark clearer, I meant it to mean IF the Tea Party decided to support him it would help him to win. There is a woman, Jamie Radke that is planning to run as a Tea Party Patriots backed candidate, but still as a Republican nominee. Here is the link to her announcement to run http://politics.blogs.foxnews.com/2010/ ... n-virginia Both will have to run in the VA primary to see which is selected by the Republican Party, The other could still run as an Independent.

The Republican Party isn't known as the Stupid Party for no reason.

"The Republican Party isn't known as the Stupid Party for no reason."

Now, now... One should not throw stones when one lives in a glass house. I have seen NOTHING from ANY political party that gives me "hope".

Most are opportunistic snake oil salesmen, and we fall for it every November.

In some ways? Maybe we should go to the Roman Empire selection for Emperor, and pray for a modern day "Cincinnatus".

My vote is for Corey Stewart.

If he can get past Allen I think he would be a much better Senator as Allen would only be more of the same.
It would be Prince William counties loss but hopefully it would be for the better.

I dunno about glass houses. Just that - in some circles at least - the Republicans are the Stupid Party, and the Democrats are the Evil Party.

Everyone else is the Hopeless Party, at least to me.

Never put your best interest in anyone elses hands, because you get exactly what you deserve.

To me? I go with three phrases:

"How do you know politician is lying? Their lips are moving."

"Politics is latin for Poly meaning 'many', and tics 'meaning blood suckers'."

"Vote early, and vote often. And if you're dead? You're still on the rolls."
