There really isn't too much new about me at my age (60) but here I am. Been around a few forums for awhile so thought I would join one here in my home state. I don't really have a collection but rather an eclectic assortment of various firearms. Born raised and almost educated here in Chesterfield County so look forward to being an active member.

Just checkin in guys, found this site over the weekend and figured it would be a good place to settle in as it appears a lot of Va boys hang out here. Most sites I visit have folks from all over the country talkin. Do not really have a collection of firearms anymore, had a housefire 3 years ago,lost everything and at my age (59), decided not to replace most of the guns. Just have a few working guns now. Being a hunter ,I now have two 12 Rem shotguns, A TC Encore with a black piowder barrel and a 270 cal. barrel, as well as a 22 rifle. Would like to add a pair of over&unders (12&a20) at some point, but that's about all I'll need from here on out. You can loose them so fast, so why brother to collect.....no, I did not have a gun safe.
